Calvin Wong: What does the ocean give us? Honestly, it gives us an excuse to slow down and just sit with our own thoughts for a bit. There’s something about being near that much water that forces you to drop the rush, clear out the noise, and just exist. Beyond everything it holds, the ocean gives us room to take a breath and let our minds drift momentarily. It’s a space where time moves a little differently, a reminder that not every moment needs to be productive, and that sometimes just showing up, tuning in, and watching the water move is the whole point.
