Jeremy Nichols: The ocean gives us all life. It's an incredible universe within our own planet that we have yet to fully understand let alone explore. And unfortunately at our current pace, the future is not looking so bright. Growing up in Ohio, I did not have much access to the ocean. My first experience snorkeling was in Okinawa when I was visiting my family, it changed everything for me. It was my first time seeing a coral reef and a puffer fish, still one of the most amazing moments that I'll never forget. That day forward, the ocean had a profound influence on my art work and still plays a huge role. We owe the oceans everything, at the very least we can start showing it some respect.
